Emma’s new range of garden furniture is all based around bees and honey. The six pieces (dining table, bistro table, chair, stool, plant support and cloche) come in clear-coated or powder-coated steel – choose from honey, teal or pink. The tables can be pushed together in different configurations to create bigger tables. Each piece pays sweet tribute to both the hard-working honeybee and to one of Emma’s favourite furniture makers, Robert Thompson’s of Kilburn, who famously adorn all their work with a carved mouse. We’re sure you’ll have fun seeking out the tiny metal bee buzzing away happily somewhere on each piece.
The honeycomb designs are laser-cut into the mild steel and then fabricated in the studio. A tiny handmade steel bee signature is added before each piece is sent to the powder coaters.
